Ettore IGT wine was first produced in 2003, and was dedicated to Giovanna Tantini\u2019s son Ettore. It\u2019s a blend of Corvina Veronese and Merlot, grapes from two very specific vines of great potential. This potential is expressed if the grapes from the area are vinified using the correct techniques. The Corvina grapes are left on 4kg plateaux to wither for 20 days, while the Merlot grapes are picked and vinified within the hour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Vinification<\/td>\nremoval of the stalks and crushing. Maceration and fermentation are done separately, according to the vine, for 15 days in stainless steel vats at 28\u00b0C. After racking the best part of the free-run wine is selected from the pressed wine, which makes polyphenol extraction more efficient, followed by malolactic fermentation in French barriques<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ageing<\/td>\n24 months in Barriques, 10 months in the bottle<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Degustation notes<\/td>\nColour: intense ruby red, with purple highlights
\nNose: intense and complex red fruits, balsamic and oriental spices
\nPalate: powerful, wide and persistent. A full excellent structure with silky tannins\u00a0and sweet<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
